A Tree's journey from existence to non existence

I popped out from a seed
That lied on the ground for long
When the branch was torn away
One evening by a fierce storm

A child took me in his hand
Placed me in a clutter of mud
He nurtured me like a baby
Showered all the love

Days passed by, years went ahead
And seasons flew too
I grew from a sapling to a plant
While rubbing my leaves with
Bright sunlight and misty dew

A few years more to my life
I grew into a tree
With elongated branches
And corrugated leaves

When the sun casted its harsh rays
People came and sat beneath me
They took shelter and enjoyed
My comfort with great pleasure

From a full bloom vivacious tree
To a pale and lifeless branch
My days were filled with gray and
Distraught as autumn arrived

I wore a deserted look that
And stood up like a dried up brook
Leaves turned pale and yellow
They fell on the ground and
I winced with deep regret and sorrow

I regained my lost self
With the arrivals of rain
A new life breathed in me
As I turned green again

Years kept adding to my life
My bark was scratched often
With melodies of love
And promises of togetherness

One day a few people
Walking through the woods
Casted their evil eyes on me
They decided to chop me off
And gather logs of woods

The uncanny sound of axes
Created ripples of fears
It was a prologue towards
My journey of non-existence

Anxious strokes of axes
Fell upon my distraughted knees
They began to howl in silence
As they watched themselves bleed

I was not wounded but felt deceived
By the treacherous human nature

One plants me and the other uproots

Oops! it was a dream

She had light brown eyes
With intense appeal in them
Who was she?
She was the girl, who came
In my dreams last night

Her smile said a thousand words
Her charm was magical
She gazed and casted a spell on me
She clasped my hands with hers

We ran through the wet streets
That was left denounced by rains
We hurried through the stairs
And reached to the old building’s crest

She pulled me towards her
Hugged me tight and
Planted a kiss on my lip
I felt elated and beautiful

 A cool breeze suddenly perched
Through the warmth of the moment
She looked at me, gave an intense gaze
The eyes did all the talking as the mouths were sealed

The rain had stopped by then
A pungent smell of the earth
Made the ambience more romantic
Our romance remain undiluted

Eyes closed, arms spread and hands clasped
A cloak of deep silence covered
The pitter patter of the light drizzle that
Still prevailed even after the rain was over

It was filled with our gasping breaths
I was curious to see her beautiful face once again
The dusk had announced its arrival
Just then I heard a loud thunder

 Clouds formed an unusual alliance
Together they made a hypnotic noise
A ghostly darkness spread all over
She was lost in the utter darkness

I could hear the calling bell
Ringing simultaneously
Oops it happened again
My dream broke again unceremoniously

Melancholy of a table

It lies alone in the space.

A rust is formed on it with accumulated dust over the years.

Screws loosened, legs broken, it travelled with time without any emotion.

Scratches formed on its body due to mishandling and rapid movements.

The design at the edges is blurred by the umpteenth touches of the human hand.

A doodled formed somewhere, a creature created on the other
.
The journey of the table is unending and filled with distraught.

Sometimes decorated with stains and sometimes with the bang of an angry hand, it patiently listens to the mood and sacrifices to any human thought.

True Love

Calling your partner thousand times a day? Saying “I love you” more than the number of times you blink your eyelids in a minute? Checking out the messages and the calls on your partner’s phone? Or is it about sharing the best moments of your life with that person whom you love and adore the most? Yes, it is about giving that person the space that he or she wants. True love is bounded with the three delicate threads of dedication, patience and trust. Any of the threads loosened up will make the four letter word of LOVE more fragile that can break anytime.
Dedication
Because it is all about commitment to spend the rest of the life holding each other’s hand.
Patience
Because life will ripen the situations, but it’s you has to make it taste sweet with the fruit of patience.
Trust
Because you have to sail through the tides whether it is low or high.

True love is so easy to find, only if two individuals in a relationship make it possible.
